The Ski Club receives a commission on all sales that goes to support training clinics, purchase equipment, make improvements to Hickory Hills, and support high school ski racing in Traverse City.
Schedule (2012, schedule for 2013 pending):
- Nov. 16 - 6 - 9pm - Equipment drop-off - Bring any recent model downhill (Alpine) and cross country (X-C) skis, boots and poles, snowboards and boots, ski racks, ice skates, and roller blades. Alpine race suits are the only clothing that can be brought for sale. Experts will be on hand to help evaluate and price your equipment.
- Nov. 17 - 7am - Entry Ticket Pickup - Reserve tickets are passed out beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. The line usually starts to form a couple of hours before the tickets are distributed, so come early for the best deals. Note: ONLY TWO TICKETS PER PERSON IN LINE. If you need more than two tickets, someone needs to come with you and stand in line.
- Nov. 17 - 9am & Nov 18 - 10am - Buyers enter in groups of about 50, take as long as necessary, then proceed to check out.
- Nov. 18 - 4 - 6pm - Pickup - Money from sold equipment or unsold equipment can be picked up from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Any equipment not picked up will be a contribution to the Ski Club. If you are not able to pick up your equipment yourself, please make arrangements for someone else to do so.
